Lightened flywheels are a real pain for street driving, especially with a low compression engine (8.5:1). The car will stall very easily, and requires more throttle in low RPM situations. Now full disclosure.. I do not have a lightened flywheel on my 90 TT, but have had on other cars. They were higher compression and it usually took more to stall, but I have heard reports of Z32 owners that regretted the switch. Just Say'n... I am sure others with Z32 experience will chime in.
